It’s a time when everyone gets together to remember the people that protect us, even if we never knew them.

Save those cans! Wash, get a nail and a hammer to make designs on them. Paint when done. Get tea candles to put inside.
Dye some rice, red and blue. Pour them in a vase with a candle in it. Such a great idea.
Painted Mason Jars
Use pockets from some old jeans or go to local thrift store. Use a cookie cutter star for the shape and an iron on adhesive to stick the star to the pocket.
Glue red and blue ribbon and/or rick rack on plain white lanterns
Red, white, and blue striped lanterns can become centerpieces for your table. Slip each lantern over a clear glass and add some white flowers inside. A solid blue runner across the table will make these decorations pop. (I’m betting these can be made by using paper plates, cut out the center, staple or gun them together .)
